In general, there are three options: acting as a Sole Trader or setting up a Limited Company or a Limited Partnership, but are there pros and cons for each?
We also discuss the current situation in respect to IR35 for consultancies. A moving target over the past year!

Simon has worked in the UK financial services insurance sector for over 20 years. He joined All Med Pro in August 2019, he is an insurance broker specialising in Medicine and Life Sciences. Simon has developed both a professional and personal interest in medicine, Biotech and biochemistry. All Med Pro work in partnership with specialist UK and multinational insurers.

Malcolm is the Managing Director of PharmaMedic and its Senior Consultant. He has over 18 years of experience as a UK / European based Consultant Pharmaceutical Physician to Industry and Government, specialising in Medical Affairs, Product Development and Regulatory Strategy.
