Join Our Free Webinar: Beyond the Numbers… Strategic Partnering with your Statistical Colleagues 1 Jun 2022
PharmaMedic is delighted to announce our next virtual event on Wednesday 29th June 2022 at 8 am. In this briefing, we will be discussing the integral role that statisticians, and innovative statistical approaches play in enabling medical, clinical, and commercial teams to make better development decisions, conduct more efficient research, and ensure more successful commercialisation.
We are delighted to welcome as speakers two seasoned statistical leaders, Dr Nelson Kinnersley, Founder and Director at Octa Consulting Services Ltd, and Dr Alexander Schacht, Executive VP Launch and Commercialisation Data Science at Veramed. From their perspectives supporting early phase development through to product launch and beyond, they will address how strategic statistical insights can add value throughout the product life cycle.
Nelson will tackle strategies in early phase development and discuss how looking beyond traditional 3+3 ‘rule-based’ trial designs for oncology towards more flexible dose escalation approaches can yield better results. Alexander will share his tips, insights, and experiences for working effectively with statisticians to achieve greater launch and commercialisation success. The speakers’ presentations will be followed by a Q&A.
The format of the webinar will be as follows:
08:00 – 08:10 Welcome and introductions – Dr Malcolm Barratt-Johnson, Managing Director, PharmaMedic Consultancy
08:10 – 08:25 Keynote 1: “More Bang for your Buck” – Discussion of some recent innovations in early phase trial design that bring extra flexibility and improved ways to evaluate novel medicines. Dr Nelson Kinnersley.
08:25 – 08:40 Keynote 2: “Towards the right evidence at the right time in the right format to make sound decisions for payers, physicians, and patients” – Case studies on how to work effectively with statisticians for optimal launch and commercialisation of new therapies. Dr Alexander Schacht.
